According to Twitter user 唐华斑竹, contract technology in the Bitcoin ecosystem is driving the valuation logic of BTC Layer 2. The engineering progress of the BitVM series bridges combined with contract proposals will be key to the explosion of BTCFi. f2pool co-founder supports BIP 119, holding about 10% of the hash power. The founder of BitVM calls for a focus on the BIP 448 contract proposal, which is expected to be activated this year. The GOAT BitVM3 white paper proposes an on-chain arbitration optimization solution, where on-chain disputes devolve into native hash checks, greatly improving capital efficiency. Citrea's Clementine bridge operates on the Bitcoin mainnet, processing 150 BTC in six months. The contract opcode will socialize the simulation takeover to the Bitcoin consensus layer, further enhancing the efficiency of the bridge.
