Nexters' Dubai subsidiary, Nexters Hub, has been selected for the Creative Industries sector of the UAE government's Future 100 2025 edition. The Future 100 is a business support initiative that annually selects 100 startups and scale-ups that will contribute to the future economy of the UAE. It started in 2023 and has selected a total of 300 companies. Selected companies receive benefits such as the right to use the Future 100 official label, opportunities for collaboration with UAE government agencies, and connections for investment and market entry. Nexters is introduced as a company that encompasses game development, publishing, distribution, blockchain, and artificial intelligence (AI) businesses, and is building payment infrastructure to handle small and high-frequency transactions. Nexters connects game distribution and payment services through One Store and acquired a stake in One Store last June. Nexters Hub is based in Dubai and is working to discover game studios in the Middle East and Europe and promote publishing collaborations. Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of Nexters, stated that they will support the global expansion of Korean and UAE game companies by combining the collaboration network in Dubai with the capabilities of One Store.
