Which WEEX Moves Cost You Auto Earn Interest? 9 Actions Checked
Key Takeway
Some everyday moves on WEEX cost you WEEX Auto Earn interest, and some cost nothing. Moving USDT between your own accounts is free. Buying crypto, opening a futures position, or withdrawing lowers the day's interest. This guide checks nine common actions against the Auto Earn rules, using a 1,000 USDT balance.
The Two Rules Behind Every Answer
WEEX Auto Earn interest depends on two rules. First, only certain USDT balances count. Second, WEEX Auto Earn takes a snapshot every three hours, eight times a day, and pays on the lowest one.
What counts toward each snapshot:
- Counts: spot and funding USDT (available and frozen), plus available futures USDT
- Does not count: margin in open positions, trial funds, and coupons
As of October 27, 2026, WEEX Auto Earn pays 10% APR on the first 200 USDT and 3% APR up to 500,000 USDT. A full day on 1,000 USDT pays about 0.1205 USDT.
Moves That Cost You Nothing
WEEX Auto Earn counts spot, funding, and available futures USDT together. So shifting USDT between those accounts leaves your counted balance unchanged. These two moves do not touch your interest:
- Transfer USDT from funding to spot. Both accounts count, so the total stays at 1,000.
- Transfer USDT to futures without trading. Available futures balance counts in full.

Moves That Lower the Day's Interest
Any move that turns USDT into something WEEX Auto Earn does not count lowers your balance. If that lasts past a snapshot, the whole day pays on the lower amount. Here is what each move costs on 1,000 USDT:
- Buy 500 USDT of BTC. The USDT becomes BTC, so the counted balance drops to 500. Pay falls to about 0.0795 USDT that day.
- Open a futures position with 400 USDT margin. Margin does not count, so the balance drops to 600. Pay falls to about 0.0877 USDT.
- Withdraw 300 USDT. The balance drops to 700. Pay falls to about 0.0959 USDT.
The cost applies to the full day, even if the move lasts only a few hours.
Moves That Only Help From Tomorrow
Adding USDT raises your balance, but WEEX Auto Earn pays on the day's lowest snapshot. Snapshots taken before the deposit still show the old balance. So a mid-day top-up usually earns its full share from the next day.
- Deposit 500 USDT mid-day. Earlier snapshots saw 1,000, so today likely pays on 1,000. From tomorrow, 1,500 USDT pays about 0.1616 USDT a day.
The Auto Earn rules page lists which balances count. To start earning, turn on WEEX Auto Earn.
FAQ
Does moving USDT between WEEX accounts reduce Auto Earn interest?
No. Spot, funding, and available futures USDT all count, so moving USDT between them changes nothing.
Does buying crypto with USDT affect Auto Earn?
Yes. USDT spent on crypto no longer counts. If that lasts past a snapshot, the day pays on the lower balance.
Does a mid-day deposit earn Auto Earn interest the same day?
Usually not in full. WEEX Auto Earn pays on the day's lowest snapshot, so earlier readings still show the old balance.
Does futures margin earn WEEX Auto Earn interest?
No. Margin in open positions does not count. Only available futures balance does.
