Serenity: General-purpose robots should adapt to the human world, Tesla's Optimus will converge on humanoid design

On August 17, Serenity discussed why robots must be humanoid, citing Musk's viewpoint that general-purpose robots aimed at replacing human labor should adapt to the world environment already constructed by humans. Human doors, stairs, tools, and spaces are all designed for the human form, so humanoid general-purpose robots can seamlessly integrate into existing infrastructure, avoiding the need to rebuild the environment for new forms. Serenity also anticipates that Tesla's humanoid robot project, Optimus, will ultimately converge on the "right shape," emphasizing that the humanoid design of general-purpose robots is an engineering rationality aimed at maximizing environmental compatibility and task versatility, rather than an aesthetic choice.
