Ontology Suspends Block Production to Address Potential Security Risks
Ontology has received an urgent report indicating that a project based on the Ontology blockchain poses potential security risks that may threaten network assets. As a precautionary measure, Ontology has coordinated with the majority of consensus nodes and decided to temporarily halt block production to facilitate the investigation and mitigate risks. The investigation is still ongoing, and Ontology will continue to collaborate with relevant parties and closely monitor the situation. The network will resume block production once progress is made in the investigation and safety is confirmed.
