Jensen Huang Claims CoreWeave's Financial Situation is Improving, No Need for NVIDIA Guarantee
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that the financial situation of data center operator CoreWeave is improving, and as its computing equipment supplier, NVIDIA sees no need to provide financial guarantees for CoreWeave. He pointed out at an event in Stockholm, "CoreWeave's strength is growing every day." Huang expressed optimism, stating that CoreWeave's capital costs are decreasing. Previously, confidence in CoreWeave from the credit market had deteriorated, raising concerns about its default risk, and Huang is attempting to restore market confidence in the company. CoreWeave is an important case for testing the sustainability of business models for emerging AI infrastructure companies, which aim to meet the nearly limitless demand for AI computing power that companies like NVIDIA claim exists. Companies like CoreWeave have taken on significant debt with the support of suppliers, including NVIDIA, raising concerns in the market about the creation of false demand through cyclical financing.
