Between August 8 and 15, 2026, the editorial team at Incrypted recorded 10 investment deals, of which eight totaled $4.48 billion. Among them were venture funding for liquidity providers, traditional venture fundraising, M&A, and more. We provide further details in our weekly digest.
During the specified period, seven projects received funding. In particular:
$3.55 billion - Accel. The venture firm raised capital across four new funds focused on early-stage investments from seed to Series B in the US, Europe, Israel, and India. The main focus is on companies developing artificial intelligence and other technologies amid a new technological cycle.
$365 million - Team8. The venture firm announced investments in the third Team8 Capital fund and an additional investment fund. The capital will be directed towards developing infrastructure for corporate AI, including solutions in the security of autonomous AI agents.
$200 million - K2 Global Crypto Fund. The venture fund Ozi Amanat disclosed capital commitments for investments in companies developing AI, robotics, semiconductors, computational infrastructure, and national security technologies. Among the companies in K2 Global's portfolio are Neuralink, xAI, SpaceX, Shield AI, Tenstorrent, and Agility Robotics.
$118 million - Mirae Asset Global Investments Crypto Fund. The venture arm of Mirae Asset Financial Group conducted the first closing of its third fund, aimed at investing in early-stage Indian companies scaling up. The fund, with a target size of $188 million, will focus on technology platforms, AI and software, deep tech, advanced manufacturing, and the consumer sector.
$8.5 million - River Markets. The company raised funding in a seed round led by Haun Ventures with participation from Y Combinator, Coinbase Ventures, and institutional investors. The capital will be used to develop a platform for professional and institutional traders that integrates trading across various prediction markets.
$7.5 million - Entravel. The TravelTech company received investments from Ethereal Ventures, Finality Capital, and other investors. The funds will be used to expand credit lines from suppliers, increase booking volumes, and scale the white-label model in the traditional travel sector.
$1 million - Memebook. The social application based on Solana raised funds in a seed round from TOF Ventures. The platform allows users to log in via a Solana wallet without providing personal data and to publish photos, videos, and text content.
Several other projects secured funding but did not disclose the investment amounts.
Digital Prime Technologies received strategic investments from Galaxy Digital to accelerate the development of the Tokenet platform, aimed at institutional lending with digital assets. Galaxy was already one of the first participants in the platform, and the capital raised will be directed towards scaling Tokenet and expanding its institutional client base.
The tokenized asset platform Ondo Finance closed a strategic funding round with the on-chain lending protocol Saturn. The collaboration involves integrating Ondo's tokenized assets, including STRCon shares, into structured credit products from Saturn, starting with the digital credit product sUSDat.
During the week, the ICO of the Kiichain protocol took place on the Sonar launchpad. The team managed to raise the planned $1 million, but the campaign ended with nearly double oversubscription. Meanwhile, several IDOs took place on lesser-known launchpads, where nearly $1 million was raised in total.
Additionally, users can find information about current and upcoming token sales through the relevant section on the website, which provides access to information about active and future asset sale campaigns.
This week, the corporate sector did not attract investments.
Between August 8 and 15, one acquisition deal was recorded in the market.
The trading and investment platform eToro Group agreed to acquire TradeZero, an American online broker for active traders, in a deal worth up to $231 million. The acquisition is expected to strengthen eToro's presence in the US market, expand the company's trading and brokerage infrastructure, and enhance its product capabilities with access to the Canadian market.
The most active investors of the week were Coinbase Ventures, Ethereal Ventures, eToro, GSR, and Ondo Finance, according to CryptoRank data.
Between August 8 and 15, projects in segments such as DeFi, blockchain services, CeFi, blockchain infrastructure, and others secured funding. Investors' main focus was on liquidity providers.
It is worth noting that last week, Web3 projects raised over $3 billion in investments.
