Zipcoin Project Announces Closure Due to Codebase Breach
The Zipcoin project has announced its closure after its codebase was breached on October 21, potentially compromising related credentials and private keys. The team attempted to migrate or rotate credentials but was unable to find a secure operational solution, leading to the decision to terminate the project. The team will provide a 6-hour selling window for existing holders and plans to sell the remaining holdings at 00:00 Beijing time on October 23 to consolidate funds and prevent attackers from transferring assets.
