  2. NVIDIA’s planned $12.93 billion acquisition of Hugging Face extends the AI trade deeper into model ecosystems and developer distribution.
  3. Snowflake and Ciena both delivered fresh evidence that AI spending is broadening from semiconductors into data software and optical networking.
  4. Markets are now focused on the August U.S. payrolls report for the next signal on rates and growth-asset valuations.

1、Crypto Market Highlights

1)Bitcoin Reclaims $81,000 as Risk Appetite Extends into Crypto

WEEX Exclusive:Bitcoin Back Above $81K, Payrolls in Focus | WEEX TradFi Daily(Sept. 4, 2026)

With Treasury yields easing and rate-hike expectations softening, bitcoin climbed back above $80,000 intraday and briefly approached $81,400, helping reignite momentum across crypto-linked risk assets. The market is reverting to a liquidity-sensitive setup in which easing macro pressure supports higher-beta assets first. If payrolls and inflation data continue to cool, bitcoin and related crypto beta could remain relatively well bid; if macro data reaccelerates, however, a stronger dollar and higher long-end yields could again cap upside across the complex.

2)Lighter (LIT) Surges More Than 17.8% in 24 Hours, Hits a Record High

Lighter (LIT) rose more than 17.8% over the past 24 hours, with the token trading at $4.49 and setting a new all-time high. The recent upside has been supported by two main catalysts: first, the project’s deep involvement in the shaping of favorable U.S. crypto policy has strengthened expectations for regulatory tailwinds and longer-term strategic upside; second, its close integration with the recently fast-rising Robinhood Chain has reinforced its position within the latest on-chain trading narrative. If policy expectations and on-chain activity continue to reinforce each other, LIT could remain a high-attention asset in the near term, although volatility around record-high levels should also be monitored closely.

2、Market Highlights

1)NVIDIA’s $12.93 Billion Hugging Face Deal Deepens Its Control Over the AI Stack

NVIDIA said it will acquire Hugging Face for $12.9303 billion. Hugging Face now serves more than 18 million developers and hosts more than 3 million models, 500,000 datasets, and 1 million applications, making it one of the most important global gateways for open-model discovery, evaluation, and deployment. The transaction suggests NVIDIA is moving beyond compute dominance into developer tooling, model distribution, and platform control. For the equity market, that broadens the company’s strategic moat and reinforces the premium investors are willing to assign to platform-scale AI leaders with expanding ecosystem ownership.

2)Snowflake Raises Full-Year Outlook as AI Products Translate into Core Demand

Snowflake raised its fiscal 2027 product revenue outlook to $6.07 billion after reporting 37% growth in second-quarter product revenue, with management indicating that AI offerings accounted for roughly half of the acceleration. The key market takeaway is that enterprise AI is no longer being priced only as a future application layer; it is already driving measurable usage, customer expansion, and revenue conversion within core data infrastructure. That supports a more constructive read-through for software names tied to enterprise AI deployment and helps narrow the gap between infrastructure winners and application-layer valuations.

3)Ciena Beats and Lifts Guidance, Extending Validation for AI Network Infrastructure

Ciena reported fiscal third-quarter revenue of $1.67 billion, up 37% year over year, with adjusted EPS of $2.11, and lifted its fiscal 2026 revenue outlook to roughly $6.42 billion. Management explicitly tied the strength to continued AI-driven demand for high-speed connectivity and network investment. The result matters because it confirms that AI capex is spilling beyond GPUs and servers into optical transport, data-center interconnect, and backbone upgrades. If peer order trends and backlog continue to improve, the market is likely to grow more confident in the durability of the AI networking cycle.

2、Today’s Preview

1)U.S. August Nonfarm Payrolls Due on September 4|★★★★☆

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is scheduled to release the August nonfarm payrolls report at 8:30 a.m. ET on September 4. After July payrolls unexpectedly fell by 23,000, tonight’s release will be a critical test of whether labor-market cooling is continuing. A softer print in jobs, unemployment, or wage growth would likely strengthen the case for a September hold and support valuation repair across technology and crypto assets. A materially stronger report, by contrast, could push long-end yields and the dollar higher again, amplifying volatility across risk assets.
