UniSat Partners with Utexo to Integrate USDT into the Bitcoin Ecosystem
Bitcoin infrastructure service provider UniSat has announced a phased plan to introduce USDT to the Bitcoin network in collaboration with Utexo. The plan aims to make USDT a usable stablecoin asset within the Bitcoin ecosystem. The integration work is divided into three phases: In the first phase, UniSat will support the receiving, sending, management, and asset verification of USDT in UniSat Wallet and UniScan; in the second phase, USDT trading pairs will be introduced in the trading engine UniHexa, allowing users to trade Bitcoin native assets using USDT; in the third phase, developers will explore the application of USDT in scenarios such as payments, financial services, gaming, and AI agents. The current focus is on completing the USDT integration with the wallet and UniScan, followed by advancing UniHexa trading support, with specific progress to be announced as implementation advances. The team plans to share technical experiences of RGB and USDT integration with other wallet and development teams to reduce redundant development work.
