Unauthorized Transactions Reported on Keplr Wallet Accounts Logged in via Google and Apple
Web3Auth has encountered a security issue affecting some third-party platforms, leading to the suspension of embedded wallet services. Preliminary investigations indicate that MetaMask users are not affected. Keplr Wallet has reported unauthorized transactions on accounts created through Google or Apple login and has provided feedback to Web3Auth, with both parties conducting a joint investigation. Initial assessments suggest that Keplr accounts created using a mnemonic phrase or hardware wallets are not impacted, while accounts created via Google/Apple login may be affected. Keplr Wallet advises users not to transfer new funds to these accounts during the investigation and not to re-import or recreate these accounts elsewhere. Currently, the Google/Apple login feature has been suspended.
