Ukrainians Received 50 Billion UAH Under the 'eOselya' Mortgage Program
For almost four years of the 'eOselya' program, more than 28,000 Ukrainian families have purchased housing worth 50 billion UAH. The program has been in effect since October 2022 as part of support for Ukrainian producers. More than 18,000 children live in their own homes thanks to this initiative. Since the beginning of 2026, 5,541 families have obtained preferential mortgage loans totaling nearly 11 billion UAH. The largest share of borrowers consists of young people aged 26-35 years — 43.7% (12,343 families). The distribution of loans is as follows: military personnel and security sector workers — 13,077 loans, internally displaced persons — 2,377 families, medical workers — 1,890 loans, educators — 1,888 loans, war veterans — 685 loans, scientists — 518 loans. 46% of the housing was purchased on the primary market, 32% directly from developers. The average area of purchased properties is 56.3 m². Popular regions for purchases include Kyiv region — 28.9%, Kyiv — 21.6%, Lviv region — 6.5%. In frontline areas, preferential conditions apply, where the state compensates 70% of the down payment and payments in the first year. In Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions, 3,605 families have used the program for a total of 12.53 billion UAH. Veterans and families of fallen heroes can obtain the 'eOselya' mortgage at 3%.
