Take-Two's Market Value Decreased by $2.83 Billion Due to GTA 6 Leaks
Take-Two Interactive lost approximately $2.83 billion in market capitalization in less than two days amid leaks of GTA 6. The company's shares fell from $248.13 to $232.84, representing a decline of more than $15 per share. The stock movement coincided with the emergence of new GTA 6 materials, including gameplay snippets and maps published by the group CyberLeek. Rockstar and Take-Two began removing materials due to copyright violations; however, some content continues to circulate. Despite the decline, Take-Two's market capitalization remains above $43 billion. GTA 6 is a key release for the company, and news surrounding the game can influence investor expectations. A new wave of leaks occurred ahead of Rockstar's presentation scheduled for August 27. CyberLeek reports further access to game materials.
