OKX founder announces 15-day reviews for deposits from high-risk addresses
OKX founder Star Xu stated that deposits to OKX from addresses identified as high risk for money laundering or illegal activities may undergo stricter anti-money laundering reviews, potentially exceeding 15 days. During this review period, some account functions and access to funds may be limited, and service access could be blocked if the activity is confirmed to be linked to suspicious conduct. Xu highlighted that funds obtained through escrow deals in Telegram group chats or through Huione, a company associated with crypto money laundering in Cambodia, are likely to face increased scrutiny. He emphasized that OKX accounts must not be used for money laundering, fraud, or illicit fund transfers.
