Large Bitcoin Holders Buy 110,000 Bitcoin in a Month
Large Bitcoin holders have purchased 110,000 Bitcoin in about a month, the highest buying rate of 2026 according to market platform Santiment. This growth occurred while the broader crypto market weakened, with Bitcoin closing the week down 0.3 percent. Wallets holding less than 0.01 Bitcoin also accumulated more Bitcoin. Wallets with 10 to 10,000 Bitcoin now collectively hold approximately 13.71 million Bitcoin, an increase of about 110,000 Bitcoin in four to five weeks. Santiment describes this as the fastest sustained accumulation of 2026, with only the period from February to April coming close. The growth of the large wallet group occurred despite the market decline, indicating that large buyers are not being deterred. The smallest wallets also showed growth, meaning that small investors are not selling off en masse to larger players. However, the data does not reveal who is behind the wallets or why the balances are changing, and it is not evidence that prices will rise.
