Anthropic Restores Relationship with Trump Administration
U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo stated that the artificial intelligence company Anthropic has restored its relationship with the Trump administration, resolving previous disagreements over national security issues. Raimondo noted that there were sharp differences between the two parties, but Anthropic has now reached a consensus. She pointed out that Trump and other government officials played a role in bridging the gaps and gained the company's support. The U.S. Department of Commerce had imposed export controls on two of Anthropic's top AI models in June, which were lifted after Anthropic took measures to address national security concerns.
