Anthropic Abandons $6 Billion Acquisition of Decart AI
Anthropic has decided to terminate its plans to acquire Decart AI. Previously, Anthropic conducted due diligence on a deal worth approximately $6 billion but ultimately chose to walk away. The two parties may still explore other forms of collaboration in the future. Decart's software and hardware optimization technology can enhance chip utilization efficiency and reduce costs for AI training and inference. Anthropic has rarely engaged in large-scale mergers and acquisitions and is currently making significant investments in computing power to develop new products and serve customers, while preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) that could be on par with or even exceed SpaceX's.
