The U.S. reported that the ADP employment figure for July was 44,000, falling short of the market expectation of 70,000, with a previous value of 98,000. Hiring in private enterprises significantly slowed in July, with new positions primarily coming from the healthcare sector. The ADP report indicated that the seasonally adjusted non-farm employment growth for the month was 44,000, down from the revised 95,000 in June. All new jobs were in the service sector, which added 47,000 jobs, while goods-producing businesses cut 3,000 positions. The education and health services sector created 36,000 jobs, financial activities added 10,000 jobs, professional and business services contributed 9,000 jobs, and other service categories increased by 6,000 jobs. ADP Chief Economist Nela Richardson stated that job seekers are sensitive to economic conditions, and the rapid wage growth reflects supply constraints in the labor market, with employers' hiring patterns also changing.
