UK Reform Party Plans to Establish Union for Crypto Industry to Address Overseas Donation Restrictions
Senior aide of the UK Reform Party, Arron Banks, stated that if the Labour government tightens rules on overseas political donations, the party plans to establish the "Allied Computer & Crypto Workers Union (ACCAW)" to cover professionals in the IT, AI, and crypto industries, aiming to raise political funds through the union. Billionaires from the crypto industry, Ben Delo and Christopher Harborne, have donated £36 million to the UK Reform Party, totaling £72 million. The UK government is advancing new restrictions on overseas donors, and the retrospective application of related rules may affect the compliance of some donations.
