Soneium Launches Native Token SONEIUM, Expanding into IP Tokenization
Soneium has announced plans to launch its native ecosystem token SONEIUM, aiming to transform the platform into an on-chain entertainment economy that connects IP holders, creators, developers, fans, and investors. The specific arrangements for the Token Generation Event (TGE) will be announced later. Soneium plans to launch the official platform Soneium Portal, which will support IP issuance, investment, fan participation, and revenue distribution, building an on-chain IP architecture to achieve programmatic processing of intellectual property registration, authorization management, and royalty distribution. Additionally, Soneium will introduce IP Vault and IP Bond, providing indirect investment channels for entertainment assets such as music copyright funds, as well as bond products supported by entertainment business operations. The first IP project will be implemented through the popular character IP Moriusa, owned by the Tokyo-based entertainment group Super State Holdings. Furthermore, Soneium will collaborate with the South Korean K-pop IP company DayOneDream to promote the tokenization of concert royalties for well-known artists, including BTOB.
