Securitize Partners with Anchorage to Mint and Redeem Stablecoins
Tokenization platform Securitize has partnered with Anchorage Digital Bank to introduce stablecoins issued by a federally chartered bank to Securitize. Securitize will mint and redeem stablecoins directly through Anchorage Digital Bank, which provides custody and settlement services, ensuring that the entire process from minting to redemption is completed by the same federally chartered bank. Securitize stated that institutional transactions on its platform can achieve the same counterparty and custody standards for the dollar side as for the securities side in tokenized transactions.
