Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for his financial crimes related to FTX. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has upheld this sentence, rejecting SBF's appeal. Despite his attempts to defend himself by claiming a conspiracy, he remains responsible for the billions of dollars stolen from customers. Currently, he has 23 years left to serve in prison. SBF has the option to seek a presidential pardon or appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, although the chances of success are slim. He has not yet publicly responded to this decision.
