Robinhood Chain's TVL Increases by 84.3% in 30 Days
The total value locked (TVL) in Robinhood Chain has increased by 84.3% over the past 30 days, surpassing $100 million (approximately 138.3 billion KRW). This marks the highest growth rate among major public blockchains. During the same period, the OP mainnet grew by 38.3%, and Hyperliquid L1 saw a 28.1% increase. The primary reasons for this growth are the influx of funds from Morpho and stablecoins, with USDe identified as one of the main incoming assets. TVL represents the total value of assets deposited in a blockchain or decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, serving as an indicator of the network's financial scale. In Robinhood's on-chain financial experiment, the increase in deposits has been more pronounced than trading activity. The average daily transaction count was recorded at 11.6 million, with TVL increasing by 32% compared to the previous week. However, the growth rate of daily active accounts was limited to 3.3%. This suggests that the increase in the metrics was driven more by the deposits of existing funds and the influx of specific assets rather than new user growth. Robinhood has announced that users can deposit USDG into Morpho's lending vault through their self-custody wallets within the Robinhood app. Robinhood does not operate or control Morpho's smart contracts, and users directly approve on-chain loans themselves.
