The co-founder of the Ethereum-based digital project POAP, Isabel, announced that POAP will officially cease development, ending over 5 years of operation. Isabel reflected that POAP issued millions of digital items across hundreds of communities and collaborated with global institutions such as Coinbase, American Express, Warner Music Group, and Bayer. She pointed out that the financing cycles and distribution models in the cryptocurrency industry make it difficult for projects to establish sustainable business models without sacrificing their initial value concepts. Additionally, the rapidly changing and fragile technological infrastructure, along with the highly speculative cycles of the market, have also increased the challenges for long-term development.
