Peter Schiff Points Out SEC's Tokenized Stock Announcement is Bearish for Bitcoin
Economist Peter Schiff has expressed confusion over the significant rise in Bitcoin following the U.S. SEC's announcement regarding tokenized stocks. He believes this news is bearish for Bitcoin, as it will have to compete with tokenized securities. Unlike tokens that lack asset backing, tokenized assets are supported by profitable companies that pay dividends, making them a more reliable store of value. Tokenized stocks offer the convenience advantages of Bitcoin while eliminating the risk of a decentralized Ponzi scheme collapse.
