OpenAI Raises Up to $30 Billion at a $1.25 Trillion Valuation
OpenAI is nearing the completion of a new funding round, seeking to raise up to $30 billion at a pre-money valuation of $1.25 trillion. Investors from the UAE are co-leading this round of financing alongside the investment firm Coatue. OpenAI plans to finalize the signing of related agreements by the end of next week, although the final scale of the financing is still being determined. This funding is positioned as a bridge financing opportunity ahead of a potential IPO, with OpenAI possibly going public in 2027. Additionally, OpenAI is negotiating a commercial agreement to secure more computing resources from the UAE.
