Ministry of Defense Checks Suppliers via YouControl
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is using the analytical system YouControl to verify suppliers of weapons, transportation, and food for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This will help identify companies' connections with the Russian Federation, sanctions, debts, and corruption cases before contracts are signed. A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between Deputy Minister of Defense Mykola Banik and Deputy Director of YouControl Daniil Globa. The verification will include checking for presence on sanction lists, ultimate beneficiaries, corporate ties with the Russian Federation, debt obligations, and criminal cases. Instead of manually searching for data in registries, information will be checked in a single electronic cabinet. The Trust Index tool is being implemented for the initial assessment of counterparties. The data from YouControl is advisory and requires confirmation in official registries. The Deputy Director of YouControl noted that identified risks will help prevent losses of time and resources. The Ministry of Defense has also contracted more than 22,000 ground robotic complexes for the Armed Forces for 2026.
