MicroStrategy Launches $250 Bitcoin Jordans, No Crypto Payments Accepted

By: beincrypto.com|2026/09/05 10:41:36

MicroStrategy has launched its branded Nike Air Jordans, priced at 250美元, on its online store. The shoes feature a mid-top silhouette based on the original AJ1, with leather overlays and custom branding, marketed as a custom build rather than an official Nike collaboration. The store offers 53 products, ranging from 10美元 Bitcoin shoelaces to 250美元 Nike Dunks, but only accepts card payments and digital wallets like Apple Pay, excluding Bitcoin for purchases. Despite being a Bitcoin-centric company, MicroStrategy does not accept crypto payments for its merchandise. The company has seen a significant boost from the recent Bitcoin bull run, with MSTR stock rising 45% in a month, recovering all losses from the previous six months. Meanwhile, Nike's stock trades at 38.40美元, down 48.63% over the past year and 40% since January. Bank of America has downgraded Nike's stock to Neutral, forecasting a low single-digit revenue decline for the fiscal year, compounded by challenges in Greater China and tariff impacts reducing gross margins to 40.2%. The sneaker culture's collector instinct aligns with crypto, making limited drops appealing, yet Nike's financial struggles persist. CEO Elliott Hill expressed frustration with the ongoing challenges, emphasizing the need for growth rather than just fixing issues.
