Maersk Suspends Service in Chornomorsk

Maersk has temporarily suspended its service through the Chornomorsk fish port due to the current situation affecting operational activities. Import cargoes that were supposed to be unloaded in Chornomorsk will be redirected to the port of Constanta in Romania. The restriction will remain in effect until further notice. The vessel Medkon Mira V.629S with import cargo will be redirected to Constanta. All import shipments with Chornomorsk as the unloading port that are currently in Port Said or expected there will also be redirected to the Romanian port. If Constanta is not suitable for the customer, Maersk offers to submit a request for a change of destination. For export bookings with Chornomorsk as the loading port, the company offers free cancellation of the booking without penalty or a change of the loading port to Constanta while maintaining the current sea freight rate. Requests for cancellation or changes to bookings should be coordinated through a Customer Service representative, as changes made through the website may incur penalties.
