Job Postings in the Crypto Industry Rose to 1,241 in September, While Applications Decreased to 20,000
In September, the number of job postings in the crypto industry reached 1,241, more than tripling from 886 in August and 382 in July. The total number of positions in September is more than double the 573 in January, which was the busiest month of the year until a decline was observed in August. The number of hiring companies also increased from 107 in July to 125, although it dropped to 77 in August. Despite the surge in job postings, the number of applications did not see an increase. There were 25,700 applications received in July, 24,631 in August, and slightly below 20,000 in September. Over the past three months, the demand for financial positions has been the highest, followed by engineering and trading, with stablecoins, artificial intelligence, security, and compliance also making the top ten. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana are the most requested blockchain skills.
