Japan's National Tax Agency Launches KSK2 Tax System, Enhancing Cryptocurrency Reporting Identification Capabilities
On September 24, Japan's National Tax Agency officially launched its new generation core tax system KSK2, integrating previously scattered data and applications managed by different tax categories to enhance tax information analysis and reporting verification capabilities. The new system will utilize annual transaction reports provided by cryptocurrency exchanges, bank fund records, and overseas tax information exchange data to identify potential reporting omissions in cryptocurrency transactions. The National Tax Agency confirmed that KSK2 has completed system updates but did not disclose the AI analysis rules for cryptocurrency.
