Hyperscale Data Stops Michigan Mining Operations, Shifts to $1.2 Billion AI Data Center Agreement
Hyperscale Data (NYSE: GPUS) announced that it has ceased all Bitcoin mining operations at its Michigan data center as of September 1, in order to advance the deployment of AI data center infrastructure. CEO William Horne stated that the company expects to generate additional revenue through the sale of related Bitcoin mining servers. The Master Service Agreement (MSA) signed with a California cloud services client involves a 20 megawatt power deployment, with an initial term of 10 years and two 5-year extension options. If fully executed, it is expected to generate over $1.2 billion in revenue. The agreement also grants the client an additional option for 32 megawatts of power, which, if exercised within the first two years of the initial term and extended through the two 5-year extension periods, is projected to bring total contract revenue to over $3 billion.
