Hashed invests in $300 million digital-asset private credit fund
South Korean crypto and blockchain venture capital firm Hashed has become a key investor in a digital-asset private credit fund targeting 300 million dollars in fundraising. The fund, founded by Abu Dhabi-based investor Mohamed Hamdy and managed by Thoro Capital Management, aims to generate returns by providing direct U.S. dollar loans, settled in stablecoins, to digital-asset institutions. Unlike traditional lending models that rely on crypto collateral, this fund will determine loan terms based on borrowers’ financial conditions, cash flow, and management situations. Hashed aims to create a new funding channel for digital-asset infrastructure companies facing fundraising challenges due to regulations impacting traditional financial institutions.
