Freehand Secures $75 Million in Funding

AI supply chain management startup Freehand has completed a $75 million funding round, led by Battery Ventures and NewRoad Capital Partners, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and the PSP Growth fund, backed by former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. Freehand's AI agents can autonomously handle tasks such as contract interpretation, vendor rate negotiations, identifying overbilling, payment processing, and reconciliation with ERP systems. Clients include companies like Meta, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Dunkin', and Cardinal Health.
