Echelon Website Restored, Domain Hijacking Due to Unauthorized Changes by Registrar

By: x.com|11/01/2026 06:23:27

The Echelon website is now fully restored, and domain resolution is normal. The team has confirmed through investigation that the incident originated from unauthorized changes to the name servers by the domain registrar. The domain is managed through Vercel, with Name.com as the registrar. The name servers were unauthorizedly changed to the registrar's DNS, causing visitors to be redirected to a phishing clone site. The issue was limited to the domain registrar and DNS configuration, and the Echelon smart contract was unaffected.
