Sovereign bonds in dollars rose by up to 1.1% this Monday, following a mixed performance in July. The country risk, measured by JP Morgan, stands at 412 basis points, reaching a three-week low. The standout securities are the Global 2038 and Global 2035, which increased by 0.8%. In contrast, the Bonar 2029 and Global 2029 fell by 0.1%. In July, the country risk had risen by nearly 2%, interrupting a downward trend since April, closing the month above 430 points. On Wall Street, ADRs are performing unevenly, with Grupo Financiero Galicia up 1.7% and Loma Negra down 1.7%. Locally, the S&P Merval is down 0.1% to 3,288,894.220 points in pesos and also falls 0.1% to 2,086.90 points in dollars, with losses of up to 2.3% led by Metrogas. Banking stocks show better performance due to their correlation with external sentiment, while energy stocks suffer from falling crude prices.
