Bitdeer Signs 10-Year 65.1 MW AI Computing Power Agreement, AI Project Reserves Exceed $7 Billion
Bitdeer has signed a 10-year agreement for 65.1 megawatts of AI computing power at its Johor Bahru facility, increasing its locked-in AI cloud service power to approximately 206.5 megawatts, with AI project reserves exceeding $7 billion. Bitdeer CFO Michael Potter stated that the demand for liquid-cooled racks has already surpassed supply by 2027. The company mined 990 bitcoins in June and allocated 1.93 EH/s of computing power to a 28-megawatt wind power joint mining project in Texas.
