Analyst Claims US Pressures Allies to Hold US Debt, Long-Term Bullish on Bitcoin and Gold
Energy and macro analyst Doomberg stated in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine that the US is pressuring its allies to continue holding US Treasury bonds, altering the way central banks calculate their reserve assets. He pointed out that in times of crisis, "you sell what you can sell, not what you want to sell," which explains the short-term weakness of gold since February 28. Doomberg believes that this situation is "extremely bullish" for gold and Bitcoin as neutral reserve assets in the long run. He also mentioned that younger generations, who are more deeply reliant on the internet, are more likely to choose Bitcoin as a reserve or value storage tool.
